About Us

Here's a little background on the two founders and developers of Primolicious:

Gary Logsdon

I joined the Disability Community unceremoniously on the evening of April 14, 1992. While cruising along the freeway I fell asleep at the wheel. The car swerved off the highway, barrel rolled numerous times, and finally came to rest upside down in a ditch. I was fortunate to survive the accident but my back was broken (T4), leaving me paralyzed from the chest down.

Following my rehab I was grateful to be able to return to work as the leader of a hardware/software development team. During my 30-year hi-tech career I was involved in the development of a variety of products including: mainframes, early PCs, Unix servers and workstations, and most recently an Internet-based software application.

I have recently resolved to change the focus of my life from chasing success to making a difference. It is fortunate that at the same time this excellent opportunity arose for my son and me to combine our talents to create something with the potential to impact the lives of many people in the Disability Community. I'm looking forward to developing additional communities using the Primolicious model.

Jason Logsdon

I've been doing web development for the last ten years in a variety of places including ESPN.com, FanNation.com, and NBCOlympics.com. I'm glad I can use my web experience to help people learn about and connect through their passions.

Summary

Primolicious is not a fancy, well-funded, Internet startup led by industry notables - but rather a father and son, dedicating nearly all their "spare" time to developing communities for folks with a shared passion. The two of us working alone cannot achieve the mission we have for Primolicious. That's why we developed the sites so the entire community would become involved in making these the Primo sites on the Internet for their specific community. We hope you enjoy the sites and would really appreciate it if you decide to become involved.
